Project 03 · Business website

Denka Endüstriyel

A rebuilt website for a commercial kitchen repair company that serves hotels, restaurants and canteens in Antalya, Türkiye. The goal: someone checking on their phone during a breakdown can reach the company in one tap, read the site in three languages, and search engines understand the business correctly.

Starting point

The company's previous site ran on WordPress with a ready-made theme: four pages, Turkish only. Before the rebuild we went through every page on a phone and on a computer. The main points were:

  • The description shown in search results named a different city from the one the company is in.
  • The main image was a 1.8 MB PNG file.
  • On a phone (390 pixels wide) the longest word ran off the right edge of the screen.
  • There was no service request form and no list of service areas; the WhatsApp link opened with an empty message.
  • The two brands the company is authorized for and the other brands were shown the same way, as logos, so it was not clear at a glance which ones had authorized service.

On the phone

The site is designed for someone looking at it on a phone while equipment is down:

  • Fixed bottom bar: Call, WhatsApp and Service request buttons at the bottom of every page.
  • WhatsApp with a ready message: the link opens with the start of a message to the company, so the customer does not begin from a blank screen.
  • Both numbers together: the call box on the home page shows both phone numbers together.
  • Service request form: requests go straight to the company's mailbox. A hidden field, a timing check and an hourly limit block automated submissions.

Three languages

The site is live in Turkish, English and Russian. Each language has its own address (/en/, /ru/), with a language switcher and the tags that tell search engines which page is in which language. The fonts were chosen to support Cyrillic.

Authorized service and brands

The company is the authorized service for Crystal and Expert. These two brands sit in a separate, highlighted strip on the first screen of the home page, linked to the authorized service page. The other eight brands the company services are listed in their own section with a "we are not their authorized service" note, so customers know what to expect from the start.

  • Every page has its own title and description.
  • The business details (name, address, phone, service areas and services) are given as structured data (schema.org), the same way on every page.
  • The home page has a visible FAQ section with matching structured data.
  • The sitemap has been submitted and the domain is verified in Google Search Console through a DNS record. A short summary file for AI tools (llms.txt) is also live.
  • No cookies and no visitor tracking; fonts load from the site's own server.

Migration

The new site was uploaded to the Hostinger hosting account the company already used, and the email settings were left untouched. The old WordPress site was not deleted; it was moved to a folder that cannot be reached from the web, so it can be restored if needed.

Before launch we listed the old site's addresses. Those that could stay the same were kept; the ones that changed (old form pages and sitemaps, for example) now redirect permanently to their new pages. Switching from the old site to the new one took a few seconds.

Decisions we made

  • Custom code that outputs plain HTML instead of a site builder

The site is built with Astro and uploaded to the server as plain HTML files. Pages open without a database or plugins, and there is no theme or plugin to keep updated.

  • Staying on the existing hosting

The company's hosting plan and email were already at Hostinger. Moving the site to another service would have put email at risk and required a new account, so the new site went into the same account.

  • No admin panel

The content does not change often. Instead of a panel, change requests come to us, so the design stays intact and all three languages are updated together.

  • A clear line between brands

Only the two brands with authorized service are highlighted; the others are separated by a written note. In the structured data, too, brand names appear only in the authorized service offering.

Status

The site went live on October 17, 2026 and has been delivered to the company. We also handle content updates after launch.
